Do any game development teams use any bug tracking software or feature tracking software? I read Joelonsoftware.com and he goes on about how awesome his product, FogBugz is. Unfortunately it’s a set of powerpoint slides instead of an actual talk or article so a ton of details are missing. Even reading all the books on the reading list at the end won’t answer most questions because the Slam mentioned Clickteam on my Virtools Review page so I checked it out. They are a company that makes various game creation programs. I didn’t download any of them but the part I was most impressed with was this detailed tutorial on how to make a boulderdash type of game. It looks like a great A fellow co-worker introduced me to Virtools a few months ago. I had a chance to check it out and was pretty impressed. Virtools or something similar is the future of game development I think. Check it Just randomly searching the net I found 3D Game Studio. No idea if it’s any good but it looks nice, appearently lots of titles have been created with it. The basic version is only $49 and the pro version is only $450 (if you actually get to the point you need it). Might be Want to know some of the things it takes to make a game?
