Back in the early 90's some friends and I wrote many tools to help us make games. One of the most useful has been our data linker. We had made it freely available several years ago but only now got around to documenting it.

It's been used on several commercial games over the years and is now even being used at Sega of Japan. If you are making games, especially console games you might find it useful.
