Katamari Fan Music

2005-01-27

I haven't yet played more than the demo for Katamari Damacy though all my friends seem to love it but one of them recently pointed out this pretty cool fan song. I'd like to hear more game fan music. If you know any please post a link. I'd prefer music inspired by a game rather than a fan just performing the same song unless of course they did some amazing job of it 😊

Feature / Bug Tracking Software

2004-11-17

Do any game development teams use any bug tracking software or feature tracking software?

I read Joelonsoftware.com and he goes on about how awesome his product, FogBugz is.

It sounds like a good idea but I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with anything at all. In fact using FogBugz for product management sounds like a good idea as well, you just submit entires as requests rather than bugs and it will track them and keep the people that need to know aware of their responsibilities.

Agile Game Development: Does it really work?

2004-11-08

I was reading this article? Agile Game Development: Dealing with Chaos in the Real World. Unfortunately it's a set of powerpoint slides instead of an actual talk or article so a ton of details are missing. Even reading all the books on the reading list at the end won't answer most questions because the questions we want answered are about game development and those books generally about business custom solution development.

Clickteam

2004-06-12

Slam mentioned Clickteam on my Virtools Review page so I checked it out. They are a company that makes various game creation programs. I didn't download any of them but the part I was most impressed with was this detailed tutorial on how to make a boulderdash type of game. It looks like a great tutorial to get started with making games.
