Those of you that have a Nintendo Wii probably know that it has a News feature. It's kind of neat in that it shows the articles and shows a marker on a 3d globe map of the world where the story takes place.
Unfortunately it leaves a little to be desired in terms of matching the names of places to their actual places on the globe.
So much for Nintendo being a positive influence on children
Hey Greg:
Seems that Wii folks can't tell the difference between OC, El Salvador and their collective a**es. Sad commentary on geography/education and IT/QC teams in general (sorry).
On a different note, I hope SF is growing on you a bit. Have you tried dim sum at Yank Sing over in the Rincon Center? It's reputed to be some of the best in the city. Also try Ton Kiang out on Geary (Richmond dist.). It's a much smaller place but the dim sum is outstanding. On the way back you can stop at Kabuki Springs (also on Geary) and relax in the baths. I’ve been there several times and have always found it to be a very clean and respectful environment. Also you may want to try Sam's over in Tiburon. They're known for having really great breakfast/brunch and the best Ramos Fizz, bar none. It’s definitely a sunny day kind of place as most of the seating is on a big outdoor deck on the waterfront. You can hop a ferry from the Embarcadero and it drops you off about a block from Sam’s. It’s a great way to spend some time with friends out on the water for not much money. Lastly is Tadich Grill on California St. It’s about as “old school” of a place in the city. Mostly seafood and definitely worth the wait for a table.
Well, try to enjoy SF Greg. It’s a terrific city once you get acclimated. Most people I know would give their left (you-know-what) to have a reason to live there.
